Today we turn to John 8 to examine some of the statements Jesus made, declaring who he is. What does this mean for Jesus to say that he is 'the bread of life'? Or that he is 'the light of the world'? Why does Jesus say that he is 'the door'? Jesus makes these shocking claims, and more than that, declares that Abraham looked forward to seeing him, and that before Abraham was born, Jesus was the self existent one. How should this change how we look at Jesus?
